ARTISTREE LANDSCAPE COMPETES FOR NEW EMPLOYEES
Venice, FL, January 20, 2022 —ArtisTree Landscape Maintenance & Design is starting the new year with an aggressive employee compensation plan designed to attract new hires and retain current workers.
“Like many employers across the country, we are raising wages due to inflation, the pandemic economy and ‘The Great Resignation’ factor that impacted the workforce,” said Vice President of Operations Bill Walters. “These pay increases reflect our longstanding view that workers are the backbone of America’s labor force and should be treated as such.”
Starting pay for new ArtisTree crew members will be an unprecedented $16 an hour, with crew leaders being paid $17-19 an hour. Wages for current workers will also be adjusted.
“Retaining the crews we have now is a top priority,” Walters said, noting that homeowners in residential communities place a high value on crews’ accrued knowledge of their landscapes. “At the same time, we recognize the need to be even more aggressive in our recruitment efforts so we can deliver the outstanding customer service that ArtisTree is known for.”
Founded in 1990, ArtisTree Landscape Maintenance & Design specializes in planned community/commercial maintenance and landscape design/installation. Services include community maintenance, pest control, irrigation, tree service, landscape design and installation, hardscape installation and landscape lighting. – Landscapers – limited experience $16/hr.
– Drivers (approved) – $17/hr.
– Crew Leaders – $17-$19/hr.
MOW POSITIONS: Mow (standup mower), weed eat, edge, blow and p/u debris. Crew Leaders/Driver positions available.
SHRUB/TRIMMING CREWS – Maintain communities by trimming, blowing debris, loading debris into truck. Seek drivers with at least 2 yrs. clean U.S. driving record. Crew leader positions open for an experienced landscape maintenance crew leader.
LANDSCAPE DEPT.: Perform all duties for residential installations. Experience w/install equipment a plus!
SPRAY/FERT TECHS: Both require experience in applying pesticide or fertilizer by guidelines for turf & ornamental applications. Fert tech will have experience leading a crew.
